Lee Alexander is a singer/songwriter, music producer, festival producer, artist development, artist’s manager and Managing director of North of South Records. He started singing and writing his own songs from the age of 15.
At the age of 18 he decided that he wanted to join a reggae band, which proved very popular around the clubs and pubs all around the country for many years. He joined another reggae band called “Dessus” and again for many years performed up and down the country. He left “Dessus”to become a solo artist, producing a single “Children of the Ghetto”. Later he joined a rock reggae band by the name of Bass Dance from which an album was produced called “Loud” extensive touring around the world followed for 8 years, supporting acts the likes of Third World, Desmond Dekker and many more well-known artists. He started his own management and artist development business in 2002, which incorporated tribute bands and individual performing artist. Lee Alexander songs are a melting pot of different genres and sounds including Soul and Reggae, Lee’s ambition is to make music that inspires and elevates his fans, he gets inspiration from the greatest musical geniuses, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Marley.
